Hi, I'm looking at buying a large existing trachy near someone's house and moving it to my place. Location Greater Victoria. Tree is about 12 feet tall.

Any tips? Can anyone recommend someone that has done this before in this area? If roots are damaged, will it rebound or is there a good probability it will not survive? What is important in removal and replant when this size and obvious age?

    Thanks!

    Ken

I can put you in touch with an absolute expert in the field of moving these palms. He's orchestrated many successful palm moves on Salt Spring Island and around the region.
You can PM me for further info.

    Cheers, LPN (Barrie)
