In The Garden: Mounding shrub

    I've attached pictures of a shrub I'd like to identify in our backyard. Each of these branches grows from the ground at the same point. There is a minor amount of side branching and a lot of water spouts.

    Looks like Spiraea sp. to me.

    Ah. I think you're correct. Looks like a spiraea vanhouttei.
