I took all the tubers out in autumn 2008 let them dry, wrapped them in newspaper and put them into an aerated polystyrene box (the big ones from the fruit transport ) from the shop.
They have a ring of square holes around the top and bottom external edge.

So this spring 2009 I took it out, than it froze that night, so I did not plant them.
I left it in garden under a swing that is covered.

Than I recalled last year I planted AFTER the Rodo fetival and decided to wait for the same time this year. It was last week end....So yesterday wanted to plant and found out all tubers are moldy in the newspaper as humindity got it :-( snif sad )

Can I still plant them or are they rotten ? They are very smelly. ?
    Thanks for any advise !

If the skins are loose/peel easily and have soft tissue... likely compost... but, then brave are those that try and maybe some will regenerate???
