this week's shots of winter flowers .. most notably, Cyclamen coum and Helleborus Orientalis .. i believe the iris is a reticulata ..
interesting to hear from you, as the originator of this delightfull winter garden was an englishman from your area of the world .. it is a lovely garden .. quite vibrant at this time of the year ..
Ah, an English gardener eh! We *do love our gardens..very much. If you look at Kew Botanical Gardens there are some beauties there too. There is also a tropical extravaganza going on at Kew between 7th feb - 8th march so hurry to the airport lolol Kew last year, (I think it was last year) started the seed bank for future generations..an interesting place is our Kew. Its also has royal connections: George II & Queen Caroline Frederick, Prince of Wales Augusta, Princess of Wales George III & Queen Charlotte http://www.kew.org/heritage/ I like this flower - Helleborus Orientalis. It reminds me of a Clamatis!

Here is a photo of two plants past the rosette stage and not quite to inflorescence: Con regard, Tomato Tucson, Arizona, USA
