More maples on their own roots

    Just thought I'd share some pics. of some more maples I saw today on their own roots.
    Seems there are more&more cultivars becoming available in larger sizes grown this way,wish I knew the secret :)
    These are all 20l at about 6ft...Little Princess,Red Wine,Phoenix,Beni Maiko and Taylor...sorry for poor pics.

    Hmm...yes it's a bit of a deception that one.Actually multi stemmed but all strapped to a cane.
