I bought this last spring. It had no tag with it. When I took it back for identification last week no one could tell me. It bloomed all summer, roots well from cutting but doesn't grow back where it was cut, and seems to be cold tollerant. What is it? Should I try to winter it over, take some cuttings, or just try to find a new one next year? It is really a lovely, easy plant to keep on the patio.

    Thank,
    Joan

It is a Plectranthus. It might be the new hybrid 'Cape Angels'. It is frost tender so bring it indoors or take a cutting. Give it the same care you would give a Coleus because they are related but they can take more sun.
