Hey there, i need a little advice regarding monkey puzzle trees! I have recently purchased a young tree from a local garden centre with a view to giving it to my girlfriends mum. However she lives abroad and i am unsure of the legalities of taking it from the uk to poland... if it is possible to take it then it would be (obviously) easier to take a cutting. will the age of the plant affect any cuttings i take (if indeed it can grown from cuttings) and would the plant be able to withstand the wild temperature variations E.G -40 celcius to +30?? i know its a lot of questions but any help on the above would be greatly appreciated! Thankyou!

It is legal to take it to Poland (one of the benefits of the EU), but it won't survive Polish winters. I'd plant it here, and find something much hardier to send to Poland.
