Is it possible to prune a monkey puzzle ? ie shorten branches and cut a number of feet off its height. This tree was planted when it was only1ft tall now approx 10ft it is getting too big for the garden. I really would like to keep it trying to maintain a reasonable size for the garden. Any advice please.

Not without ruining the appearance of the tree. It'll regrow with an ugly shape and weak new trunks which would be liable to split in the future.

Tree's genetics call for it being well over 60 ft. high so if you think 10 ft. is too much you have it in a spot that is never going to work.
