    Hello
We have a female tree that is 30-35yrs old have flowered for the first time last year. You have already answered my question regarding dead branches in replies to other correspondents - thanks. I have one other worry. The lower part of the truck is "weeping". Is this normal or do I have a problem. In all other respects it looks healthy and has produced more flowers this year, though not so many. Hope you can help. Larksmead

Difficult to know. Resin bleeding (the "weeping") is a response to injury, producing the resin to seal the wound. The wound could be very minor and inconsequential, or it could be more serious. More likely the former if it is otherwise healthy, but not a guarantee. Photos might help.

Looks fine to me, nothing obvious to worry about.
