I recently acquired a money tree that is in obvious distress. It was given to my office as a gift and slowly slipped from health to a sad state. From what I have read on this site, the plant was in far from ideal conditions and was seriously over watered by a well meaning employee. Now it has about four leaves left. I replanted it in fresh soil yesterday and watered it somewhat sparingly. Can you advise me on how best to save it's life? Also, if it survives can it be cut down so as to not be so spindly on the bottom portion? How does one continue to brade the branches? Thank you.
