Hi, I have a 5' tall money tree that recently started dropping it's leaves. I have had it for a year and a half and it has been growing like crazy until a month ago. I have not moved it from it's spot or repotted it. The leaves turn yellow then brown and fall off, I fear I have over watered it. It still has it's leaves at the very top and new sprouts are still coming out of the top of the branch. I also have a lot of little sprouted leaves coming out of the trunk. It just looks terrible because all of the leaves from the trunk to the upper leaves are gone! Can I trim it back so the leaves will start filling in the bottom of the plant again? If so, how do I trim it and where on the stem do I trim, below a spot where an old leaf fell off or just somewhere in the middle of the stem?

    Thank you in advance,
