I just recently purchased a couple small indoor plants for my room/office for decoration, but I am quite interested in taking good care of one of them specifically, my money tree (Pachira aquatica). I know of all the care procedures, and I've done a pretty good job. However, I woke up this morning to the sight of a few of my leaves bitten half way down. I have a cat as well that was sneaky enough to to that when I was asleep! The money tree isn't even a foot high yet and already damaged :(

Is there anything I can do to rejuvenate the leaves, or are they toast? I wasn't planning on having 4-leaf stars. Please help! I want a healthy healthy plant with no flaws. Thank you!

Well, nothing you can do about the leaves that are already damaged. As for kitty ... well, kitty will do as kitty does. Unless it's placed in an area where the cat can't access it, expect more of the same.

Remove your cat. Or remove your plant.

The leaves are done. The same leaves don't grow back their bitten off portions like starfish arms.
