    Hi
My mom's Eureka lemon tree, in a pot, is not happy. It is still producing fruit by the leaves are changing from green to yellow and starting to curl. She has usually been watering it every day or two and I have told her to cut back. She has not watered it for about a week but the color change and leaf curl is still persisting. Below are some photos of the leaves. I recently fertilized it. It has been in the same pot and the same spot for about a year. We live in Southern Cal.
    Thanks

It appears to be a trace element deficiency such as Iron, Manganese or Zinc.
Make certain your fertilizer provides these and other trace elements.
Also be certain it is acid forming to counteract potential alkalinity in
    water and soils.

I can put fresh citrus fertilizer on the plant. How do you treat the acid forming? Mom uses a salt based water softener for house water. No other plants seem to be affected.

    Thanks

It really needs to be given rainwater or distilled water to
wash out the salt and alkalinity buildup. Most every Citrus
fertilizer is acid forming so no worries there. You may have
to try foliar feeding to green-up the old growth. New leaves
will probably show the effects of the plant food already applied.
