    Hello,

I found this mint growing in a park in Madison Wisconsin and am having trouble with the ID. The leaves are slightly fragrant, my friend described it as "a cross between catnip and mint"

The plant was woody at the base and was about 2 ft tall and found blooming in September.

The closest thing I can come up with is Thymus praecox, but the flowers look a bit different.

    Any help appreciated.

Marjoram (Origanum vulgare), good for tea.
