hi my neighbor has this plant and she says the tag that came with it says "Catnip". I don't know what Catnip looks like but this plant does have a square stem so it's the mint family for sure. It also has a faint mint aroma, nowhere as strong as the wild mint I have in my garden. Any one know what it is? thanks
Can be some other Nepeta (N. grandiflora or N. racemosa) or its hybrid (Nepeta x faassenii). N. cataria normally has whitish flowers, only rarely purple.
