    Hello-

I have these tiny, miniscule little whitish-clear bugs in my indoor peace lily. They look basically the shape of a tick (round body). They are almost impossible to see unless I stare at the soil for a few minutes and let my eyes focus in. They never go up into the peace lily, they seem to just enjoy spending time in the soil.

I completely washed the roots and re-potted the plant in a different pot. They were gone for a few weeks, then they came back again. I've tried using a regular insecticide targeted at fungus gnats and common culprits, but it only seems to slow them down---not kill them off. I have tried to let the plant dry out significantly, but that doesn't kill them off either.

They don't jump, grow larger, or transform into anything else...they just wander around in the soil. Any clue what they are? Any clue how to get rid of them?

    Any help is appreciated!
