The cold snap in the winter of '08 seemed to have killed my beautiful and healthy Meyers Lemons but I cut them back below what seemed to be the 'deadwood' and flourishing new growth has reappeared but no flowers and no lemons of course. Is there hope for these plants or should I start all over again with new ones?

    Thanks,

    Gary in Roberts Creek

Plant is not hardy enough to grow outdoors throughout the year, through all the weather this region produces. Shoots coming from frozen top may belong to Poncirus trifoliata rootstock.
