I have a dwarf Meyer lemon that I bought from. Local nursery it had tiny lemons on it when I purchased it but they all fell off. The tree is growing and has new shoots and looks healthy. I live in newyork so it is potted. Can anyone tell me what to do

I'm assuming you have it indoors? I keep mine in a greenhouse.

From what I've read, they like to have the soil dry out before being watered, although I've been watering on a more regular basis which has worked for me. Mine was a "rescue" (a shipment came into the local nursery in bad condition and the staff were able to "save" some and I bought an Improved Meyer & Eureka lemon trees at a discount. Both are doing great. I use tap water most of the time, but once in a while I use water from my koi pond and I now add MiracleGrow every couple of weeks to the water.

The trees seem to like a lot of sun. They flowered up beautifully after I brought them home and each has several small green lemons growing right now.

    Hope that helps.
