My 3 year old Meyer lemon tree definitely has WLD. Please advise me on ways I can keep my roots of my Lemon tree warm. I just read Skeeterbug's advice about small lights to warm the roots. Could you please give me more information on this, and also other ways to safely warm the roots to keep the leaves from falling? This is my very first posting, and am so happy to have found this forum. HELP!

It sounds like he had sucess by raising the ambient temperature near the containers. The effect would be similar if the lights were wrapped around the container itself. I would expect the temperature to be somewhat higher but that can be varied by the number of wraps used. It would be useful to determine the exact temperature of the soil with a thermometer. Armed with this information you could experiment with other methods to come up with a solution.

Smaller-sized containers, say up to 20cm, could be warmed from below using a heat mat meant for seedlings.
