I have a question concerning my Meyer lemon tree. I thought I killed it this winter. In order to revive it, I placed it in a sunnier window and made sure it was watered a few times a week. To my surprise it came back leaves and all. I now have noticed that there are many new buds and growth. My problem is, is that the buds seem like they are not progressing, not opening at all. I'm wondering if I need to prune it a little or add some fertilizer?

Citrus trees alternate between root and shoot growth. Perhaps your tree is currently in the former cycle. I would not prune it but allow nature to take its course. The tree should be fertilized on a regular schedule. A fertilizer containing micronutrients with a 5-1-3 ratio is recommended as this is an indoor tree. On the other hand, watering should not follow a schedule but rather proceed on an as required basis. This means allowing the medium to dry somewhat between applications.
