    Hi:

We live in Chicago and took it inside, water it max once a week but use no fertelizer.
    Any suggestions?

They don't like it much indoors in the winter, especially in a heavy heating climate like yours that really dries out the air. If you have any way to increase the humidity that would really help. The coolest room in your house (not freezing of course) will have the highest humidity if you can't raise it everywhere. The other main thing is the low light levels. It's unlikey that any combination of lights you could come up with would even be close to the amount of sunlight it gets outdoors. So perhaps put it right up close in a south, bright window; raise the humidity above 50%; wash the leaves & stems every other time you water; and hang a cheap shoplight with cool white bulbs right close over it. Then fertilize weakly & frequently, perhaps 1/4 strength (or half strength if you get the extra lights & get it growing again). All these together would get you nicely through the winter until you can get it back outdoors again. Otherwise do the best you can with what you have and cross your fingers. :)

What is the nature of the problem? Is the other tree not showing similar symptoms? What environment is it being kept in?
