Hello, I have been searching and am wondering if there is a place where I can locally purchase Meyer Lemon and Key Lime Trees for indoor growing.

At the beginning of May, Sun Tai Sang Farm on SE Marine Dr in Burnaby had a number of varieties of citrus, including Meyer lemon, grafted on trifoliate rootstock. They appeared to be leftovers from last year and in less than ideal condition. They looked something like the ones pictured here. I don't recall seeing key lime but they had Bearss lime and kaffir lime. You should also check with GardenWorks at Mandeville which is around the corner. They usually have citrus at various times during the year. Meyer lemon (on its own roots) is quite common and shouldn't be a problem to locate.

for more established meyers you can go to garden works or in richmond at garden city greenhouse on cambie, there was no kaffir at Sun Tai today but garden works always has meyers and Southlands also has lots. The Sun Tai meyers were very young and for 30$ you might aswell shell out another 10 or 20 and get one that will produce fruit this year I got mine earlier this year at garden city and it had some scale and spider mights but now it has 23 green lemons about the size of a nickel from blooming in my house.

The key difference between the trees at Sun Tai and elsewhere is they're grafted onto a dwarfing, trifoliate rootstock. That accounts for the difference in size and price.

There were about half dozen each of Lisbon and Meyer lemons in #1 pots at Southlands today.

There are quite a few larger-sized Meyer lemons available at Art Knapp Urban Garden.
