this bush grows on the SW coast of Mexico and is commonly called a confettii bush, due to the red flowers that litter thr ground around it. The three pointed leaf near the top seems to be a clue. This example is just a new start, but the bush will get 3 meters wide/tall and is just a pleasant, if not spectaular, foundation plant.

    any ideas?
