    I never Metapanax I didn't like. Is this one locally suitable? One or two species are being grown here in this part of USDA 8. Note that the specific epithet is spelled delavayi.

    My bad crawdad . I am glad I did not still use nothopanax . ha ha . The freeze in the southeast hammered so many things last year . There was a 30 " an hour north of Atlanta . Just planted mine in a somewhat protected spot not more than 3' away from me now . In Raleigh there is one about 5' . Just received the cross with dendropanax . Is anybody growing this one ? I wonder how the seed will look on this .
