This season I grew a Tea Tree, Melaleuca alternifolia from seed. It lives in full sun outdoors and has already reached 60cm, and holds a nice triangular shape. Hoping to bring it indoors in the fall, and hold on to it for at least a few more years, realizing it will soon get to large for a house plant. I obviously don't have a greenhouse and worry that it will drop all its leaves and die during the dark days of winter in Alberta. Anyone have any experience growing this as a houseplant?
