    Hm... Cyrtostachys sp. ... or really a medusa!!! :)

    Lila is correct. It is a Cyrtostachys lakka.

    Wow! I thought the plant was a fake plastic one. Things like that actually exist? Its definitely a first for me.

    Doubtless a palm stem with inflorescence. The suiggly coral is only part of the plant.
