Please let me know if there is a more appropriate place for this. :) I love dates and would be very interested in growing my own. I've been told that if you grow from a date seed that you've bought from a store, it will not bear fruit. Is this true? Also, are you able to buy them in the Vancouver area? I have not seen any. (And, what prices are we looking at?) What sort of conditions do they like? I've tried doing Internet searches, but all come up with lower American state information that I feel isn't relevant to myself. Cheers,
