Japanese mandarin oranges have a place in British Columbia's history (https://bcfoodhistory.ca/japanese-mandarin-oranges/). Perhaps that is why they are still sought out at this time of year. However these tasty morsels have been somewhat difficult to find in recent years. If you are looking for them, the good news is they are now available at Kin's Farm Market. The boxed product is from Ajimaru and weights approximately 1.25kg. The bad news is the price of $25/box.
