Douglas Justice's May 2023 blog has been up for a while at May in the Garden 2023 - UBC Botanical Garden, with a lot of information and good photos. Here are just a few that were mentioned. I had trouble staying focused. Taiwania cryptomerioides Cupressus torulosa, in perpetual adolescence (you may need to read the article to understand this). Cupressus funebris, seen from the norths side of the moongate, and from Upper Asian Way. Glyptostrobus pensilis - I thought this might have had a hard winter, but it's deciduous and male cones are in clusters of tassels, so maybe it's just not the best time to see it. Everything is happening on this way up high.
