Hi Im new to this method of communication and am not sure if this will be seen. I have a Maxillaria Tenuifolia orchid and am noot sure about its watering and misting habits. Can anybody help me with this? Thank you for any information you can provide me with!
Water once a day, mist once a day 12 hours from that - you're in a fairly humid place so more won't be necessary. Maxillaria are very easy-care orchids.
I just saw this, and thought I would mention that perhaps in Washington, unless your plant is mounted, watering once a day would be way too much. For a potted plant, two or three times a week would be max., with less during the winter. I have one, and this is what I do. Misting is good, if it is dry in the house - do you have it outside during the summer?
Thank you guys! I have it outside in a screened cage. I water about once a week and mist almost daily. There are two shoots coming out, so I guess the plant is happy. Thanks for the tips!
