I have a very mature Blue Atlas Weeping Cedar, (25 years old). I would like to move it to another loction on my property and would like some advice as how to start.
Not really feasible, unless you have a budget in the tens of thousands of $$ for advance preparation, professional tree spades, etc.
If you have it moved with a spade insist they dig the new planting hole with a backhoe instead of plopping the tree into a spade-dug hole that it barely fits into - or does not quite fit into. They are not pounding pegs into a board.
