I Live In Toronto In The East End Of The City. All Of The Maple Trees In My Vicinity Have Quarter Sizes Black Spots On The Leaves. I Would Really Appreciate If Someone Could Tell Me What Is Wrong With These Trees.many Thanks. Jerry
Jerry We have the same problem with our maple trees in Moncton N.B. We just noticed the black spots on the leaves today, most of the leaves are affected Have you found the answer to your problem in Toronto Francis
Francis, could you post a photograph of the affected leaves? As Ron mentioned, it could be tar spot, which is not a threat to the health of the tree.
