I have 2 october glory and 1 silver maple that are 6 years old and all have splits in several places on the trunk. They also have dark brown spots on the leaves. Is there any treatment for this?
Could you post pics of splits and the spots? The splits could be age, mechanical damage, pathology, insects, animals, weather, poor physical structure, or a combo. The brown spots? They could be viral, bacterium, drought or chemical burn.
