Maple Leaves

    Hello,

    I have a couple photographs of what I believe to be a maple tree in it's fall foliage. Can you verify for me if it's a maple and if so, what kind, or any other interesting information you might have on the tree?

    I'll be happy to give any contributing identifiers credit in the comments of the picture on my web album.

    Not an Acer. / maple.
    It is Quercus sp , common name Oak.
