    Came upon this article on the BBC website:

    'Wrong' maple leaf on Canadian banknotes

    What next? Replace the portrait of the Queen by that of King Harald V?... ;°)

    We don't have this problem with Euros: there are pictures of bridges on them, and not to be accused of preferential treatment all the bridges are imaginary...

    Wasn't there a bridge that people thought looked like one in the Midi? ;)

    What's really funny is that A. platanoides is considered an obnoxious pest in much of Canada. What does that say about Canadians, that they think 20's are springing up, unwanted, across the land? :) (With all due respect to our hosts and other contributors, of course!)
