Cultivar Acer palmatum ' Seigen ' is a popular maple around the world. The synonym is Seika ha. (Vertrees).

 

Cultivar Acer palmatum 'Ao seigen' and the synonym is Seigen Aureum. (Yano).

Cultivar Acer palmatum ' Shime-no-uchi and the synonym is Schime-no-uchi. ( MOW).

 

Cultivar Acer palmatum ' Shichihenge' is very well known and the synonym is Schichihenge. (MOW).
You really have to look closely, then look again to tell the difference.
