Hi from Michigan, first post ever in this forum, with a Mango question bcse of my oops move the other day. Had 1st ever success sprouting mango seed, & sprout was looped, growing to the size of a nickel (diameter). Decided to have a look at root growth, & snapped the root . . . it seems too sad to give up! I saw the root had grown 3", and one post I read seemed to suggested the root can be removed more than once to manage the root ball, mentioning that "tap roots" will form . . . WILL THE MANGO SEED GROW MORE ROOT? WOULD ANYONE WITH INFO PLEASE LET ME KNOW; it would be nice to know there's something 2 wait 4!
