Hi, I was given several mangoes that were not edible so I have left them contained in a plastic bag to keep down the insect problem. I have a greenhouse so i want to try to grow them can anyone help me ? Do I let them dry out to plant or plant the whole mango? [ altho they are quite juicy at this point] Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks, Rosewood54
This thread: http://www.botanicalgarden.ubc.ca/forums/showthread.php?t=12065 (how to grow a mango plant from seed) should be of great help to you - you need to get the pits out of the fruits, split them gently, and plant the kernels.
