the stem is abut 5-6 inches and the 1 leaf is about 5-6 inches. The plant stopped growing but the one lead continues. I had something tiny sroupting from the top of the stem and i touched it today after 7 days or so and it was hard and it fell off. It was crispy. Is my plant going to die?

I have it on top of my computer tower becuase its enclosed and it gets really really warm. I also put a light in there.

It might be rootbound, and it also looks a bit dry. I'd try repotting it into a larger container (with drainage holes, of course), watering it a bit, and moving it somewhere that isn't quite as hot as the top of your computer tower (it may have contributed to the problem).

Re: how to grow a mango plant from seed

My plant has 1 LONG leaf. 8 inches, while the stem is 5 inches. I thought it was dying so I started another one and I have hte same problem. 1 leaf, its about 2.5 inches and the stem is 4 inches. should I cut it at the top of the stem removing that 1 leaf?
