my mango plant ive been growing from seed for a couple of years and has grown to about 20cm. The plant itself is doing fine and new leaves are coming through but in the soil it is completely infested with black & white flies. Ive been using a bug spray specificly for killing green, black and white flies but the bugs dont seem to be disapearing. The plant stays inside over night because my greenhouse is too cold for it to be in and i put the plant in the greenhouse when i wake up which is around 8am.

please can you help me because my family are starting to moan about the flies and saying to put the mango in the greenhouse all the time but im worried im going to kill it because of the temperature outside (0-10 in my greenhouse)

Sounds like a combination of pests? The black flies may be fungus gnats - what's your watering regime like?

i water my plant whenever it feels dry. Thats what ive been told to do on the internet when i looked up how to care for it because it was orginally a member of my familys. I have started using plant food on it for citrus plants which ive only used once.

    thanks for reply
