Manchurian Cherry - Prunus maackii - orange bark, small white flowers

    Vancouver BC Canada
    Prunus maackii, common name Manchurian Cherry, not listed in Cherry Cultivars - Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival as we had not seen them in Vancouver until 2017.

    These trees have small white flowers, not all that showy. They are generally planted for their striking orange-coloured bark.
