    Hello, my name is Richard.
This is my first query at this website. I am learning about fruit tree care. I wish every enthusiast the best, thank you .

I have a 4 year old Santa Rosa (variety) plum. This is (mid) August - the last month of winter (in Australia).
Tiny green buds have appeared all over my tree.

What spray do I apply to my tree, at this stage, to ensure the maintenance of a healthy fruit tree (growth and fruit development) and
then later stages of plum tree (fruit) development ?

Unless there is a particular problem with plum trees in your area that occurs every year, there shouldn't be a need to spray pre-emptively.

Plum tree care can be found here: Plums and Prunes via the Univ of Calif IPM Online.
