Does anyone know anything about this Malus (5654 EM)? I found it in our inground nursery awhile back and was curious as to the background of the plant. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Check to see if it might be EM 5654. EM for an apple can stand for East Malling, a British research station that has developed and released orchard rootstock cultivars. If this is one of those it may have been selected for use as a rootstock rather than for fruit quality.
