When we bought our palms, it looks like near the bottom of the trunk, that the outer branches had been cut down, does anyone know why this is done? Is it something that we need to do as part of the care for our palms?
I'd imagine that they just cut the dead leaves off for presentation. That would be my guess without a pic Ed
I agree with Ed. I have had 3 now. So far the 3rd is doing well. As far as I can understand in my apartment they like a south window, you must mist everyday. Also if you do post a pic it would help.
