Well yesterday I purchased a Majesty Palm. Now as I'm reading I found out it's not really good for indoors. Well I live in N.Y.C. I put it in the living room the window is south. This window has the most sun. I took a picture. Now I would like to know if I repot it I have a clay pot 16" in dim. will that be o.k.. Also if I use scott's soil for indoor plants will that be o.k.. I have sprayed room temp. water on it twice a day morning and evening. If I'm doing anything wrong please let me know. I am new to having plants and living in an apartment in N.Y. well I guess that doesn't make it any easier. I'll be great full any advise.
    thanks

    Hello,
The misting is very important to this plant as it will prevent the browning of the tips.
As far as repotting I would go with one pot size bigger being that these plants prefer to be root bound.

Most potting soils will be fine as long as they contain peat anf loam
