I had this Magnolia Tree for many years but has to relocate to a new place around our yard. I've noticed that it's been 2 years & that same bud has not open. There are new growth only @ the base of the tree. I am scared to prune the rest of the limbs since there are this new growth only @ the base. I think the tree is in shock, but for how long? Should i just pull her out & pronounce the tree dead? Or wait 1 more year? Thank you.
