   Any info on growing Dwarf Magnolias in Hawaii. I am at the 1000' level on Oahu.
   
   I have heard some where that to make it grow thicker that I need to remove the seed pod after the flower dies. Recommendations?

   Magnolia grandiflora grows throughout inhabited parts of Hawaii. No need to deadhead, seedcones part of the interest.
