I'm looking for a good sized specimen of Magnolia grandiflora, specifically looking for 'Edith Bogue' because it's supposed to be fully hardy in this area (South Surrey). I've been looking everywhere and all I can seem to find are 'Little Gem', 'Teddy Bear', and 'Bracken's Brown Beauty' (but mostly just 'Little Gem'). Does anybody know why the 'Edith Bogue' supply has dried up or where I can find one? Does anybody have a suggestion for an equally tough (but not too wide) Magnolia grandiflora? I'm trying to hide the new huge eyesore the developer is building next door.
