A bit of an unusual topic; if it's not appropriate, please let me know. Just throwing this out there to see if anyone is interested or has ideas. I've had this tree since 2013, growing in a large pot. Despite the size of the pot, it has not grown a lot, much less flowered. I bought it on a whim due to my magnolia and fragrant plant obsession despite having no more room in my garden, hence the pot. Anyway, I wonder if anyone would be interested in giving this tree a better home in the ground? I've read that it can grow to a considerable size, but it might have been dwarfed by its years in the pot? It has proven quite resilient through the years, including weathering the extreme winter a couple of years back. I believe the variety is rather uncommon?
Photos of the tree. I would say it’s about 6.5 feet tall. I’m not asking anything for it. Just would like to see it find a new home. The pot stays with me and I’ll do my best to assist in getting the tree out, preferably this fall.
