This magnolia with beautiful apricot colored flowers is only offered for purchase by a New Jersey nursery. They are not allowed to ship to the West Coast of the United States.

Is there any botanical garden or University where I could get seeds or cuttings or *something* in order to plant this beautiful tree in my garden?

    thanks!

Seeds would not be likely to come true.

    Hello,

The tree you are looking for from either Fairweather or Rare Find nurseries is

    Magnolia 'Apricot Brandy' - Magnolia
Multicolored flowers blend pink and yellow to form an overall peach color. From the late Phil Savage. (M. acuminata 'Fertile Myrtle' x M. sprengeri 'Diva')

There is another hybrid of the same type from Gossler Farms

    MAGNOLIA PEACHY
    (M. acuminata 'Fertle Myrtle' X M. sprengeri 'Diva'). This hardy mix of yellow and pink creates an attractive colored flowers. This Phil Savage hybrid was registered by Dick Figlar in '94. M. 'Peachy' will bloom late March - April so will be past most of the frost.

I am not sure if they are the same, but should be close as they are both a hybrid of the same parentage.
